Punch Graphix responds to termination of contemplated transaction between NPM and Punch International

Eede, the Netherlands – 10 May 2010 – Punch Graphix NV (‘Punch Graphix’) announces that it has taken note of the withdrawal by NPM Capital NV (‘NPM’) of its non-binding offer to Punch International NV (‘Punch International’) to purchase the shares in the capital of Punch Graphix held by Punch International. Due to circumstances certain conditions precedent to the transaction were not met.

The contemplated mandatory offer by NPM on all other shares in the capital of Punch Graphix will consequently not take place. Further announcements will be made if and when circumstances so require.
